He is world-renowned, Grammy Award-winning, trumpet superstar Chris Botti performing at the Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series presented by Montgomery Village on Sunday, August 27.
In its 27th year, the series features four summer-time concerts, award-winning wines and local food purveyors at the scenic Concert Green & Terrace setting at Rodney Strong Vineyards.
Playing with his uniquely expressive sound and soaring musical imagination, “Impressions,” earning a Grammy Award for “Best Pop Instrumental Album,” is the latest in a stellar parade of albums starting with 2004’s “When I Fall In Love.”
With “Impressions” and the albums that preceded it, Botti is well established as the world’s biggest-selling jazz instrumentalist and one of the important, innovative figures of the contemporary music world.
Described by The Associated Press as “a music alchemist who tastefully mixes genres,” Botti concert-goers will be treated to a one-of-a-kind form of creative expression in an intimate, scenic setting surrounded by acres and acres of picturesque vineyards.
